The LAGO 26 - Sword & Keel

The LAGO 26 is available in two versions: Sword and Keel. Both are based on the same boat, the same design and the same standards. It's not a question of better or worse - it's a question of how and where you sail. Sword or Keel is not a question of price, but a conscious operational decision:

  • The Sword version is aimed at sailors who value freedom and don't want to make their sailing area dependent on draft or infrastructure.

  • The fixed draft ensures a constant, direct feel at the helm.

LAGO 26 Speedster

Single-handed sailing. Without compromise.

Designed from the outset so that one person the boat can sail safely, efficiently and with full control.

LAGO 26 Speedster RS

The LAGO 26 Speedster RS is a crew-oriented regatta boat based on the LAGO 26 platform.

While the Speedster 26 was developed for single-handed sailing, the RS pursues a fundamentally different performance concept.

A higher rig, a retractable bowsprit, trapezes and a lighter keel characterize the RS configuration.
The righting moment is mainly generated by active crew work and not by ballast.

LAGO 26 Foil

The LAGO 26 Foil is slimmed down to the minimum and reinforced with carbon. The rig further aft, higher by more than a third. The boat has additional outriggers to bring the weight of the crew more to the outside. With the Q-foils developed by Hugh Welbourne, this racing machine can foil even in light winds and easily reach speeds above 20kn.
